We recommend that you take CBRM Seminar, on business continuity plans, as your first business continuity course. CBRM Seminar is a 5-day course that covers all six stages of the business continuity planning process including risk management, business impact analysis, business continuity strategy development, plan development, plan testing and plan maintenance. CBRM Seminar also includes special topics such as business resilience and enterprise risk management.

I am new to business continuity and I am considering enrollment in the CBRM Seminar business continuity course. Can beginners like me take CBRM Seminar?

Should I prepare for CBRM Seminar in advance?

No. There is no need to prepare for class ahead of time. All topics are covered including introduction to business continuity plans.

We have reviewed student documents in the past. Depending on the time availability we can schedule a plan review session.

Are your business continuity courses available for on-site training at our facilities? Can we request a customized training program for our company?

My company is currently investigating a software-based plan development package. Should we purchase such a package before we take your business continuity training?

It is strongly recommended that you have some prior knowledge of business continuity before purchasing any plan development tool.

Often people make the mistake of purchasing a plan development tool without understanding their company’s business continuity requirements. Training will influence the success and effectiveness of your organization’s business continuity and disaster recovery program. Does Sentryx provide on-going support to students once a business continuity course is finished?

What is the dress code during the business continuity courses?

There is no particular dress code during the training sessions.

Is the BRCCI exam given during the CBRM Seminar course?

Yes. The BRCCI Certified Business Resilience Manager exam is given during the CBRM Seminar course.

Is there a fee for taking the CBRM exam?

The fee for the CBRM exam is included in the fee for CBRM Seminar. The CBRM exam, however is an optional.

What is BRCCI? What is the CBRM designation?

BRCCI or Business Resilience Certification Consortium International Inc (BRCCI) is an open non-profit international business resilience certification body.

The Certified Business Resilience Manager (CBRM) designation is a globally recognized specialist and professional designation in business resilience and is awarded to individuals who demonstrate proficiency in BRCCI’s Common Criteria for Business Resilience Professionals.
