BCK101 - Business Continuity Planning 1
The objective of this course is to provide an overview of a business continuity program
and its planning process. This course is designed for students from all levels of the
organization who are new to business continuity planning.
In this course students will:
- Identify business continuity program objectives.
- Learn the definition of disaster, and sources of disaster.
- Analyze example disasters and disaster statistics.
- Understand the components of a business continuity program and its historical evolution.
- Examine the reasons for establishing a business continuity program.
- Become aware of business continuity related rules and regulations.
- Understand the business continuity planning process.
- Learn business continuity program principles and how each principle is applied in the
process.
This course is a recommended pre-requisite for all other BCK courses.
