BCK102 - Business Continuity Planning 2

The objective of this course is to provide a detailed introduction of the business continuity planning process, business continuity plan, and business continuity program management.

In this course students will:

  • Identify business continuity program objectives.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the business continuity planning process and its various stages, objectives, and interactions.
  • Identify objectives of a business continuity plan.
  • Become familiar with a business continuity plan and its structure, elements, and activities.
  • Gain an understanding of how a BC plan is executed in a disaster situation.
  • Identify facilities, services, and resources involved in the development and execution of a BC plan.
  • Learn about business continuity related standards and guidelines.
  • Understand the role of crisis communication within a business continuity plan.
  • Become familiar with business continuity management objectives.
  • Gain a high-level understanding of business continuity management phases.
