About Onsite

Sentryx’ on-site training courses are provided in-house at your facilities. These courses are perfect solutions whether you are just getting started or would like to enhance or increase your staff’s knowledge and skills. They are both cost effective and help you to develop an effective plan right from the start. Our team of professionals conducts the training at your offices and facilities and will be on hand to coach your staff and review your business continuity plan.

Cost

For up to 10 students, the fee is $8000 USD plus travel and accommodation for the instructor. Each student beyond 10 is charged at $400 per student including the examination fees. Sentryx will supply textbooks, presentation handbooks, CDs containing plan templates and other related course information. Compare to off site training, you will save $8500USD + travel + accommodation cost for 10 students based on the regular course fee of $1650USD+ travel + accommodation for each student.

Training Hours

For 2 days, classes will begin on 8:30 am and end at 4.00 pm. There will be a morning, lunch and afternoon break

Benefits

Following are some of the key benefits of onsite training: Lower overall cost of training (no travel, hotel, and accommodation expenses). No need to take time off work to travel to instructor-led off-site courses. Offers an opportunity to train staff members from various departments at one time. On-site courses may be customized to fit your company’s business continuity objectives. Ability to have a professional trainer and consultant present to answer any of your business continuity questions and concerns. On-site courses serve as both a business continuity skills development and coaching session for all company participants. On-site courses enable your company to develop a proper plan right from the start. Our instructor can review your existing BC plan and provide feedback if time permits. Students will be awarded a ‘CBRITP’ certification after successfully passing the optional examination.

Course Materials

During the course, all students will receive textbooks, presentation handbooks, CDs containing plan templates and other related course information.

Instructors

Our courses are provided by a team of highly skilled subject matter experts specializing in business continuity and disaster recovery training and consulting services. All Sentryx’ instructors have 10-20 years of experience related to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, management, and audit. These professionals are experienced consultants with industry designations from BRCCI. BCI and ISC2.

Requirements

Our instructor will have a laptop and a projector.

The training room will require the following:

A standard training room with sufficient seating, chairs, and desks. The preferred seating arrangement is in classroom configuration. There is no requirement for computers or laptops.
A screen for the projector. A white board or flip chart is also required.
A backup projector is also recommended as projectors do fail from time to time.

Examination

Students will have the opportunity to take the optional business continuity certification examination during the CBRITP Seminar business continuity training course.
